Springfield Police are seeking the public’s help identifying and locating an individual suspected of robbing a bank Wednesday afternoon.

At about 5 p.m., Aug. 9, a person walked into the Chase Bank, located inside Fred Meyer at 650 Q St., demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash, then left on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s standing between 5’3″ to 5’5″ tall with a slender to medium build. He was wearing a long-sleeved blue, white and green flannel shirt, jeans, brown shoes or boots, sunglasses and a blue baseball cap.
