DUII suspect arrested after reportedly crashing into parked vehicle in South Eugene

A 42-year-old man was arrested Wednesday evening on DUII and other charges after allegedly hitting a parked vehicle in South Eugene and fleeing the scene, according to a release from the Eugene Police Department.

In July 26 at 8:47 p.m., police were called to a report of crash during which a gray Honda Fit had run a stop sign and crashed into a parked vehicle in the 4500 block of Hillside Dr.

The driver of the Honda, identified as David William Harris, 42, of Eugene, allegedly left the scene of the crash without trying to facilitate an exchange of information with the owner of the parked vehicle.
