Eugene Police are seeking help from the community locating an 18-year-old man who was reported missing Saturday.

Police say Theodore Alvin Kudrna, 18, was last seen around 1 p.m. Thursday walking towards Skinner Butte after being dropped off near the vicinity of Cheshire Ave. and Lamb Cottage.

Officers checked the area but did not locate Kudrna.

Police later learned Kudrna had been seen by some friends later that afternoon along the bike path paralleling the bank of the Willamette River between Lamb Cottage and the Valley River footbridge.

Kudrna’s friends told his mother Kudrna was disoriented and had fallen into the river, but had left him there.

Kudrna is a white male, 18 years of age, who stands 5’10” tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has shoulder-length wavy brown hair and blue eyes, and was wearing a faded navy blue MMA t-shirt, long pants (color not known) and black Nike shoes. Kudrna was also carrying a dark backpack.

Police are continuing their investigation and are following up on additional leads, and ask anyone who has seen Kudrna, or has information on his whereabouts to contact EPD at 541-682-5111, and reference case # 17-08936.
