Eugene, Ore. – A Eugene woman, Evelyn G. Allen, 25, has filed court papers last week suing six local establishments, and Travis Anthony Simonis, for $30 million, according to court records. The heart of this suit is a Nov. 2, 2017 vehicle accident that left Allen paralyzed from the waist down. The driver of the vehicle was Travis Anthony Simonis, 29, or Eugene.

Allen claims in her suit that The Keg, Jimmy Mac’s Overtime Grill, O’Donnell’s Irish Pub, the Brew & Cue, Shooter’s Pub & Grill, and Don Juan Mexican Restaurant all overserved alcohol to Simonis, who according to the suit, was “visibly intoxicated”.

The suit claims the overservice was a factor in the accident. According to the suit, Simonis had a blood alcohol content of .27, over three times the legal limit.

Simonis, at the time of the accident, was charged with DUII, reckless driving and reckless endangering. Simonis, in February, pleaded guilty to assault 3 and DUII. Simonis was sentenced to probation.
