Newport, Ore. – A recent Facebook “Tip of the Week” post by the Newport Police Depart Police Department has many Oregonians literally laughing out loud.
Newport Police in a moment of levity posted the following tip to their official Facebook page.
Tip of the Week
“Be nice to people; because what’s stopping them from plucking one of your hairs and placing it at a crime scene? Nothing really.”
The reaction to their post has been mixed, but mainly positive from Facebook readers. One Facebook reader is quoted as saying “At least they have a sense of humor…”. That quote seems to sum up the reaction of most Oregonians to this great bit of levity.
