Felon arrested in Downtown Eugene on weapon and heroin charges

A 28-year-old man was arrested Tuesday evening after police responded to a report of a man trespassing and urinating on a Downtown Eugene building, according to a release from Eugene Police.

At 7:46 p.m., Aug. 22, police responded to 100 E. Broadway concerning a man trespassing at a business, and urinating on the building.

Police spoke to the man, Justin Scott Crump, 28, of Eugene, and reportedly found heroin and a bladed object on his person.

Crump was taken to Lane County Jail on charges of heroin possession, second-degree criminal trespass and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He has since been released from Lane County Jail.
