UPDATE: Dustin Westling was apprehended Saturday in Linn County.

A 30-year-old high risk sex offender from Hillsboro is being sought by the Washington County Corrections Department.
Dustin Westling, 30, reportedly absconded from his court-ordered supervision Thursday, Aug. 3. He is described as a white male with a bald or shaved head with brown eyes, who stands 5’9″ tall and weighs 200 pounds.

Westling is considered to be a danger to the public, and is currently on supervision for second-degree escape and identity theft. However, Westling has served prison time for convictions on charges of first-degree attempted sex abuse, third-degree sodomy and third-degree rape.
Also, Westling has previously been convicted on charges of improper use of 9-1-1, false information to police, theft, failing to register as a sex offender and contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor.
Westling was last seen in Hillsboro near SE 21st Ave. and SE Cypress St. prior to removing his GPS monitoring bracelet.
Anyone who sees Westling is asked to immediately call 9-1-1.
