A Lane County man was sentenced to over 27 years in prison last Thursday for a brief armed robbery spree which occurred in August 2017, according to a press release from the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
Adam Bradley Smith, 29, was convicted of three armed robberies, the first of which occurred Aug. 13 at the Fern Ridge Market. Two days later, Smith robbed the Alvadore Market, and on Aug. 17, he robbed the Chevron located at Hwy. 99 and Irving Rd.
Smith was apprehended Aug. 17 by authorities after a community member submitted a tip to police.
On Nov. 9, Smith was sentenced to 330 months in prison on three counts of first-degree robbery. Each offense is a Measure 11 crime with a mandatory minimum sentence of 90 months for each count.
