Level 3 predatory sex offender sought by Medford Police and Crime Stoppers

Medford Police, and Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon, are seeking the public’s help locating a predatory sex offender who has failed to comply with his probation conditions, according to a release from Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon.

Robert Freier, 48, is listed by the Oregon Department of Corrections as a Level 3 sex offender, considered to be the most predatory of sex offender classifications.

Freier is a white male who stands 5’9″ tall and weighs 217 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and is known to wear eyeglasses.

Freier’s last known residence is 1110 Woodrow Lane #4 in Medford. He is wanted for failing to comply with the terms of his probation, and also has a warrant for failing to appear on a public indecency case.

Freier became a registered sex offender in 1991 when he was convicted in California on a charge of attempted rape.

According to court records, Freier was convicted in Marion County of theft in 1995 and criminal trespass in 1994 and 1993; in Jackson County of three counts of second-degree burglary and one count of public indecency in 2006, failing to register as a sex offender in 1997 and May 28, 2017 and public indecency in 2012 and 2013.
