Man sleeping in Roseburg High teacher’s lounge caught with meth, police say

A 32-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on multiple charges after he was found sleeping in the teacher’s lounge at Roseburg High School, according to a release from Roseburg Police.

Police were called to Roseburg High School Oct. 18 to a report of a male subject trespassing in the teacher’s lounge.

When police arrived, they found Joshua Allen Templeton, 32, of Woodburn asleep in the lounge.

Templeton was arrested on a criminal trespassing charge, and a warrant for escape from the Oregon State Penitentiary.

Templeton was reported to be in possession of a little less than two ounces of methamphetamine, drug packaging materials and a scale. He also faces charges of methamphetamine possession and delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school.
