A 20-year-old Toledo woman was arrested Friday on drug delivery and possession charges, according to a release from the Newport Police Department (NPD).
An officer stopped a black 2000 Chevrolet truck at E. Olive and SE Douglas St., knowing the driver, Hannah V. Gumm, 20, of Toledo, did not have valid driving privileges, and also after observing the truck did not have a front license plate.
The officer learned Gumm had a warrant for her arrest out of Marion County. NPD K-9 Nero searched the truck, and alerted the officer to the presence of narcotic odors associated with the vehicle.
Police searched the truck, and found methamphetamine, heroin and packaging materials.
Gumm was taken to Lincoln County Jail on the warrant from Marion County, and charges of delivery and possession of methamphetamine, and delivery and possession of heroin. She also was issued traffic citations.
