A 28-year-old man was arrested by North Bend Police Friday on allegations he provided marijuana to a 15-year-old runaway female.

Shortly after 12 p.m., Sept. 16, North Bend Police officers arrested Jourdan A. Ackerman. He is charged on counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and unlawful delivery of marijuana to a minor.

Ackerman is accused of supplying the girl with tobacco and marijuana at his residence in the 2000 block of Marion St.

Police say Ackerman has previously been seen by officers in the “smoker’s trail” near North Bend High School. He also has been reported to have provided alcohol, LSD and psilocybin mushrooms to minors.

Ackerman is lodged in Coos County Jail.
