Police catch naked man suspected of burgalrizing Aloha coffee shop

A 34-year-old man was arrested Tuesday morning after police say he burglarized an Aloha coffee shop, according to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

At around 9 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a burglary at Black Rock Coffee Bar, located at 17455 SW TV Highway in Aloha.

The suspect gained entry to the shop through the back door of the coffee shop, deputies learned, and had stolen a purse and wallet.

Patrons of the coffee shop followed the suspect, updating deputies as to his whereabouts.

One of the patrons approached the suspect, and recovered the stolen purse and wallet. He took a picture of the suspect as he fled on bicycle.

Deputies searched the area and located a naked man at SW 173rd Ave. and SW Alexander St.

The man, Patrick L. Jones, 34, of Aloha, matched the suspect description provided by witnesses. He was arrested and taken to Washington County Jail on charges of second-degree burglary and second-degree theft.
