Chervin was contacted by an undercover officer who posed as an underage female, after which police say Chervin contacted the undercover officer repeatedly with the intention of establishing a sexual relationship, believing the undercover officer to be an underage female.

According to police, Chervin had stated a desire to meet with the undercover officer for sexual purposes.

Chervin allegedly arranged a time and place in Southeast Portland to meet with the officer, and was taken into custody Nov. 8, 2017 by the PPB Sex Trafficking Unit.

Chervin is lodged in Multnomah County Jail on 20 counts of luring a minor, and charges of third-degree attempted sodomy, first and second-degree online sexual corruption and second-degree attempted sexual abuse.
