Prineville man, 31, faces allegations of luring teen girl

A 31-year-old man is in custody after attempting to lure a teen girl through social media, according to a press release from Prineville Police.

Prineville Police received information on Oct. 15 that an adult man, identified as Patrick James Adams, 31, of Prineville, had been sending explicit images and trying to lure underage females through social media.

Police conducted a month-long investigation and obtained a warrant to search Adams’ residence where police say they seized items as evidence. The search and arrest occurred Nov. 14.

Adams was arrested on two counts of online sexual corruption of a child, and two counts of luring a minor.

Police suspect Adams may have had similar contact with other underage females throughout Central Oregon, and ask anyone with additional information to contact Detective Brandin Noland at 541-447-4168. Prineville Police can also accept messages through Facebook private message.
