Police say Chulufas fled from police on a bicycle, causing a traffic jam. Another officer tried to contact Chulufas further along NE Stephens, but she attempted to flee again.

Chulufas, however, was unsuccessful in her second attempt to flee, as the officer was able to grab her and detain her without further incident.

As Chulufas was being taken to Douglas County Jail, she reportedly vomited in the patrol car.

Chulufas was lodged in jail on charges of DUII, second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass, interfering with police and harassment.
