Suspects identified in Waldport marijuana dispensary theft; suspects still at large

UPDATED MAR 8, 2017 AT 3:41 P.M.: Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reports the two suspects have been located. LCSO Deputy Shawn Carter located the van the pair were traveling in around 1:00 p.m. in South Beach. Bryan allegedly barricaded himself in the van for a brief period of time and did not cooperate with deputies. The incident disrupted traffic on Hwy. 101 for a few minutes. Bryan was taken into custody and was lodged in Lincoln County Jail on charges of second-degree theft and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $30,000. Hurley was cited for second-degree theft at the scene and released with the van. Deputies recovered the stolen property, minus the marijuana the pair consumed.

Based on tips from the public and surveillance footage, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has identified two suspects in a marijuana dispensary theft case Tuesday.

The first suspect, James Bryan, 47, is a white male standing about 6′ tall and weighs about 195 pounds, The second suspect, Carrie Hurley, 47, is a white female who is 5’7″ tall and weighs about 110 pounds.

The suspects were last seen traveling in a white 1988 Dodge Wayfarer van, with Oregon license plate 255HDN.
