Suspects sought in vandalism of Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office vehicles

Authorities are seeking help from the public in identifying the suspects who vandalized a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) vehicle Friday morning.

Shortly before 1 a.m., Apr. 7, 2017, a vehicle reportedly drove into an alley near a deputy’s home, and two subjects got out of the a car, walked over to the JCSO vehicle and applied graffiti to it. The subjects ran back to their car and fled the area.

Madras Police officers are investigating the incident, and other areas of Madras were reported to have had similar graffiti incidents. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Madras Police at 541-475-2424.
