Sutherlin man accused of possessing meth while violating restraining order in front of police station

A 54-year-old man was arrested Monday on charges of violating a restraining order and possession of methamphetamine, according to a release from Sutherlin Police Department.

Just before 10 p.m., Sept. 11, a male subject, identified as Donald James Hoke, 54, of Sutherlin, allegedly stopped his vehicle in front of the Sutherlin Police station. After doing so, police say Hoke yelled at an individual who is protected by a restraining order against him.

Police contacted Hoke, and found methamphetamine in his possession.

Hoke was arrested and taken to Douglas County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and violation of a restraining order.
