Woman accused of Ashland custodial interference incident arrested in Las Vegas

A 43-year-old woman accused of taking her 21-month-old daughter from an Ashland home in the early morning hours of July 5 was arrested Wednesday in the Las Vegas area, according to a release from Ashland Police.

On July 5, Shelly Sue Dahlstrom, 43, had taken her 21-month-old daughter from an Ashland home, according to police. Dahlstrom is not he custodial parent.

Dahlstrom was arrested July 19 in the Las Vegas area, and her daughter was with her. Her daughter is reported to be in good condition, and will be returned to her custodial parent.

Dahlstrom will be extradited back to Jackson County, where she will face charges of first-degree burglary, contempt of court and custodial interference.
