A 33-year-old woman was arrested Thursday afternoon on DUII and reckless driving charges after allegedly crashing into the back of a semi on Beltline.

A Eugene Police officer responded to the 900 block of Beltline westbound to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into the back of a semi truck’s trailer.

The vehicle involved, a silver 2001 Ford Taurus, sustained front end and roof damage due to the impact of the accident.

The driver of the Taurus, Jacklyn Marie Gamble, 33, was reportedly swerving and traveling at a high rate of speed on Beltline prior to the accident.

Gamble was transported to an area hospital, and arrested on charges of DUII and reckless driving.
